By-appointment coin buying across Southeast DC. Capitol Hill SE, Navy Yard, Hill East, Anacostia, Congress Heights, Hillcrest, and every SE neighborhood. Roughly 25–35 minutes from our Falls Church base.
Southeast DC spans from the historic Capitol Hill row houses east of the Capitol all the way south to the Anacostia River neighborhoods and beyond. The collections we’re asked to look at in SE are similarly varied. Capitol Hill SE families often hold long-built U.S. type sets, 90% silver, and pre-1933 gold accumulated over decades. Newer Navy Yard and Capitol Riverfront households tend to have steady bullion holdings and graded modern issues. East of the river, in Anacostia, Hillcrest, Fort Dupont, and Congress Heights, we work with multi-generational family collections that include silver dollars, classic U.S. silver, and meaningful U.S. paper currency.
Hunter Hicks is an ANA and PNG member numismatist based in Falls Church, Virginia. Work in SE DC is done by appointment at your home or office. You receive a written record of every item evaluated and the option to settle on the spot, no shipping or transport of valuables to a counter.

From Falls Church, the typical SE drive is 25 to 35 minutes, usually via 395 and the 14th Street Bridge or across Memorial Bridge and east on Independence Avenue. Weekend and after-hours appointments are routine, and the wait is normally a day or two. Settlement is immediate by check, ACH, or wire, with a written line-item record of the collection.
